Principles
An outlet for selling fun designs, blancpop required a modern branding that grabbed attention while maintaining full accessibility. What resulted was a design scheme that used warm welcoming colors with an aggressive edge. This was targeted to appeal to a young adult and forward thinking demographic.

Making a brand:
With the modern aesthetic and young adult demographics in mind it was decided to use a typeface that emphasized flow, with rounded curves and bold styling. A color range of vivid violet, to hot pink, and light ruby red further enhanced the pop of the logo and branding. Subsequently an abbreviated version of the logo featuring the “b” and “p” created a visual representation of how “blancpop” formed its own unique word, with both being a flipped version of the other. This created an imperfect symmetry that helped increase visual intrigue.
To match this branding a matching pastel color scheme was used for the website. This allowed for all fonts to be WCAG accessible while still allowing for a wildly colorful user experience. This combined with the simple user flow and lack of excessive page elements created a warm, inviting, yet exciting website. Finally, subtle evening cloud photos were used to increase these qualities more.

Showcasing Designs:

A wonderfully simple user flow was created for the store and checkout process. Top designs were featured on the front page below the hero image. The easily accessible shop could be reached from the header or footer. When reaching the shop, a matching yet unique cloud photo greeted the user. The light pastel pink background allowed for designs to stand out.
